Driver Biography:
Mark began his career as a go-kart driver, moving up to racing cars only at age 23.

Mark's big break came when in 2003 out of 2000 entrants, he won the Channel 5 TV Show 'Be a Grand Prix Driver'. He then went on to drive a Tyrell F1 car at his first race in Monza, striding through the field from 32nd position right up to 8th, winning his class.
For the remainder of the 2003 season, he competed in the TVR Tuscan Challenge, winning 3 = Top5 finishes in just 4 races.
In 2004 Mark was able to enter single seater racing, in the Formula Palmer-Audi Championship. He finished 6th overall and secured the title of 'Rookie of the Year 2004'. It was unfortunate that budget constraints meant he was unable to compete in 2005.
In 2006 whilst working at Palmersport, Bedford Mark was spotted by the Weston Performance team. Working on developing a drift car for the D1 Championship - Marks secured the drive.
After a couple of 'test' entries into the 2006 D1GB series, Mark entered the 2007 European Drift Championship in style:
- Round 1 @ Donnington Park - WIN 1st Place
- Round 2 @ Silverstone - retired due to turbo failure
- Round 3 @ Knckhill - WIN - 1st Place
- Round 4 @ North Weald - Top 8 Finish
- Overall: 3rd Place in Championship
The Weston Performance team has
worked hard over the winter break, and coupled with a new main
sponsor in EA Games, this is looking like another bumper year
for Mark!!!
